有限責任事業組合（LLP）プラグドは、クリエイターをはじめとするスペシャリストと、アイデアを事業に発展させるための手法と人脈を持ったゼネラリストとが自分たちの得意分野で"協働する"事業組合です。
＊LLP（有限責任事業組合、Limited＝有限 Liability＝責任 Partnership＝ 組合）は、創業を促し、
企業同士のジョイント・ベンチャーや専門的な能力を持つ人材の共同事業を振興することを目的に創設された
新しい制度（2005新会社法改正 2006年施行）です。

-基本事業モデルは、プロジェクトをベースとした協働事業体です。

プラグドは、フリーランサーの集合体。
固定された人材の中でプロジェクトを行う必要がないため、プロジェクトに応じて、最適な人材を選出し、チームを結成します。
組織（企業や団体）と個人、行政と民間、そして、営利企業と非営利企業のそれぞれの強みを生かしながらPLUG（つなぐ）する中枢的な組織でもあります。
従来型のクリエイタープロダクションとの違いは、プラグドの登録スペシャリストには、"一見さん"がいないということ。過去の作品だけで審査をするのではなく、人と人とのつながりを重視しています。
それは協働事業の成功には、スキルやノウハウだけでなく、パーソナリティーを含め、各参加者の強みや弱みを把握した上でのチーム構成が大切だと考えているからです。
個々のプロジェクトは独立採算制ですが、すべてのプロジェクトを運営委員会で管理するため、複数のプロジェクトを横断するプロジェクトによる相乗効果を狙います。
これがプラグドの目指す戦略的パートナーシップです。

プラグドが目指すのは、Double Win（取引者間の満足）ではなく、Triple Win（社会的な共通益）。戦略的パートナーのCSR（企業の社会的責任）活動につながるプロジェクトを、事業性と社会性を併せ持った協働事業の形で取り組みます。
③Product（製品）＆Service（サービス）からMovement（ムーブメント）へ
-CSR（企業の社会的責任）活動の事業化に取り組みます。
営利団体として、戦略的パートナーと行う協働事業を通した、社会的なメッセージの訴求を行い、社会的な問題解決のきっかけづくりに努めます。
また、同時に社会的問題解決の一助となることを目指した、プラグド発のプロジェクトを立ち上げ、戦略的パートナーと共に、ソーシャル・ビジネスへ発展させることを目指します。
個々のプロジェクトを通し、社会にアウトプットしていくものは、Product（製品）やService（サービス）だけでなく、Movement（ムーブメント）です。

What is PLUGGED?
Our fundamental business model is to provide core leadership in fostering opportunities for connecting, or "plugging in" people who want to explore new ideas to inspire social consciousness. By working in collaboration with specialists including designers, artists, consultants, and subject matter experts who have abundant experience in creating thoughtful, informed, and progressive yet responsible initiatives, we bring together client and creator to build projects mutually beneficial to all. As a result of being "plugged", we transform ideas into reality.
What is a LLP?
The Japanese Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) Act became effective in 2006. A Japanese LLP is a contractual partnership in which partners jointly carry on a business for profit. Either an individual or corporation can be a partner in an LLP. All partners contribute to the management of the LLP business and as limited partners are only liable to the extent of their capital contribution. An LLP is treated as a pass-through entity for tax purposes.
